Sorry, but in my opinion this is a stupid and erronous review. We have been there twice on a family trip to Argentina and loved this restaurant and ambiente and we were a big crowd of 14 people. Did you try the ensalda de berros? Thanks for the pics, best thing about your review!

I ate at El Obrero 1 year ago and it was excellent. The area has to make one a bit paranoid though we had no problems. The provoleta appetizer was unbelievable flavorable. The meat was great and everything had an earthier flavor just like the environs.

I ate at El Obrero last week. Thought your review was right on! Food was just ok, but the place was great and the cock eyed waiter, still there, was one of the most attentive, fun and entertaining in BA.
ps. Caminito has increased in size 5 times, although quite touristy, it is alot more fun than it used to be!!

I have seen Carlos Mencia live in San Jose, CA. This is as good as it gets. This could easily be on the Mencia show on the television channel Comedy Central in the US. Laughing my axx off.

First the cock-eyed waiter...then the no women working here, cracked me up too. Then the snapshot out the cab window as they left. Hilarious.
